My Sony 50mm f1.4
It's tiny, super fast focussing, usable indoors or out, sharp, and makes me think about composition lots.

If your camera has DOF preview like my A100, you can also check it that way. Look through the lens, hold DOF prev button down, whilst adjusting apeture with wheel.

I love my Sony 100mm Macro. I've heard lots of people criticize the slow AF, but even on my A100 I find it ok - it's not as quick as the 50mm f1.4 by a long shot, but fast enough for me (certainly faster than my 18-200, which is about as slow as I'd wanna go!). AF isn't much use in macro or lowlight...

Isn't the Sigma 70-300 also 1:2 macro? I was pretty impressed by that, could come in handy

I really like that, as others have said composition is absolutely spot on for me.

They're awesome shots, so clear and sharp! Must have been fun standing on a cliff holding a 70-200G lol I imagine they're pretty heavy.

Actually got to have a play with this combination today at work (customer's camera, not our stock), and I was extremely impressed :) I've heard the 70-300G didn't have the fastest AF considering it's got SSM, but to me on the A900 it felt a lot faster than my A100 focussing with the 50mm f1.4 which ...

I think that's quite eerie actually, nice shot
Only tried HDR on buildings myself, I'd imagine a landscape like that is a bit trickier somehow.
