Re: BRAND NEW A700 - ISSUES! EXAMPLES NOW UP!

Hey Guys, Sorry I haven't been back earlier. I have been busy over the weekend. I will reply 'properly' here soon :) In the mean time: Thank you to Sonolta for your suggestions mate. gave a few a shot. I will have a look into what Mastroalex has suggested. BRAND NEW A700 - ISSUES! EXAMPLES NOW UP!

Hey Guys, I have really appreciated the advice I have been given so far on the forum. Just wanted to see what you thought of this. I have already sent one A700 back after only two uses. The problem? The worst focus and the softest photos I have ever seen. I was not impressed. The manager of the came...

Re: A900 programming your lenses

^^^^ Thanks again David and I appreciate your honesty. It looks like the A900 is off the shopping list at the moment. It really comes down to the fact that I can't use my current group of lenses on that body, therefore, it is not really worth the bells and whistles it has. To purchase a new b...

Re: A900 programming your lenses

I have bad news for you. Thank you for the explanation and your written experiences with other lenses. You, and the other guys here have seen my line up of lenses and you now know I want to contribute to automotive magazines, so... What do I do in your (everybodies) opinion? Buy a A700 and be happy...

Re: A900 programming your lenses

Thanks for your input Javelin. I would love to upgrade to the CZ 24-70. I feared that the 16-80 might not cut the mustard like I read. Forgot to mention that the flashes will be used mostly for for fill to even out the shadows and once I am more comortable I plan on doing some 'strobist' style stuff...

Re: A900 programming your lenses

Talking about lenses, here is my drama. I have waited to see what the A900 delivers compared to the A700. I currently own a basic A100 Camera with the following lenses. SONY SAL1680Z 16-80mm SONY SAL70300G 70-300mm SONY SAL50F14 50mm and, a SIGMA EX DC 10-20MM I thought these were reasonable choices...

WHICH FLASHES & ACCESSORIES SHOULD I GET?

Which Flashes should I get? I want to purchase two off camera flashes for use in automotive pictures. Then move onto three eventually. I would like to control them wirelessly and obviuosly off a slave unit. (kind of like a pocket wizard set up) Does Sony offer anything like this? The other option, a...
