Posting IMages

I am probably missing something on the site but don't seem to find anything about uploading images.
I have a thick skin so if I'm being daft and missing a FAQ etc. please tell me, other wise advice much appreciated.

Re: Which zoom lens for a new APS-C user?

I have the CZ 16-80 and find it an excellent quality lens but a very irritating lens. In anything but horizontal position it creeps out to the 80 setting. I moaned to the dealer (family run high street of excellent reputation) and was told that all the ones they have handled have been like this. Whi...

Re: Secondhand Lenses

Thank you for all this, most helpful. One other question. I see that some Minolta lenses require an adaptor for the modern cameras. What is this adaptor and what Minol;ta lenses do require it? Are the adaptors readily available? I am sorry for these simplistic questions but being a new convert to So...

550 v 700

I need to change my 350 for firm reasons which I won't bore you with here. The question is whether to go for the 700 at the excellent prices presently being charged or wait a few weeks for the 550 now that model's specs are announced. I use the Live View on the 350 but not enough to fret about not h...

Re: Cokin or Kood

The Lee system is undoubtedly of the very highest quality, especially for landscape work.
They are not cheap but when you have a decent lens you need high quality filters as well. I see no point in putting lower quality filters on high quality lenses.

Secondhand Lenses

Is there any merit in looking for secondhand Minolta lenses rather than buying current Sony, Tamron, Sigma glass? It seems to me that some Minolta items are very cheap but, as I didn't use Minolta film I am not familiar with which Minolta glass is top rate and which to avoid. I would appreciate any ...

Re: biginning of a air-balloon flight part 1

Hi, You really catch the occassion very well here, I can almost hear the sound of the burners. We get plenty over us here, despite being on a turning point for aircraft going in to East Midlands. Glad we don't have anyone starting them near us as the dog is petrified of them, goodness knows what he ...

a350 oil on sensor

I appreciate it is not actually the sensor but the glass in front of it. I have had the camera about a year and three months ago experienced problems with what I thought was dust but it truned out to be oil. I had failed to clean the 'dust' and ended up at having it professionally cleaned. After thr...

Re: Sony Software

Hi,

Have done all this with PS3.

Yes, I heard that PS4 is goping to be available very soon. A friend has the beta version and likes it, although I am presently unsure whether there is enough in it to justify the upgrade cost.

Sony Software

I am new to Sony having just changes from the Panaica (Panasonic/Leica) Digilux-3 for certain personal reasons. I have bought a 350 with the Zeiss lens having spent 3/4 hour in the shop trying to decide whether to have this or the 700. In the end budget and a desire not to incur wrath of 'er indoors...

Re: Only 2 smileys per post?

Oh dear, I have tended to keep away from forums because of the way folk just don't seem to hold the basic courtesies of communication and tend to insult others so freely. I had hoped this would be the same but I fear not from reading several threads. This is a great shame because there is much that ...

Minolta AF 35-80

I would appreciate any comments on this lens.
I have just bought one on eBay at £12.00 and wonder how it will perform on the A350?
If it is likely to be not much good then at the price it is little loss. :?: :D :(
