The A100 is already a good camera, LR and PS arent going to change that. First of start shooting RAW and then play with all the settings in LR to see what happens. I typically start at the top of the right hand panel in LRs develop module and work my way down changing things that I think might enhan...

What focal length, ISO f-stop etc?. It still looks a little soft to me but then I'm no expert.

Hi neil I've just chucked the 70300g on my A700 and pointed it out the window at 300mm ISO200 f5.6. No squirrells in my garden but I think the linked jpeg (converted from RAW in LR2) shows some fine detail. If you zoom in you'll be able to make out strands of cobwebs. http://www.therobertsonhouse.co...
