Sold, thanks for the help , as the a200 NR isnt as good as the a700 Im guessing the fact that its 1.7 will help me keep the ISO lower to reduce the noise, is that right?

So how good is it?

I have seen a lot of talk on here about the Minolta 1.7 50mm lens, I have had a look on fleabay for them and there is a lot of them on there so how now this lens has got my attention, has anyone got some pics they can post to see how good a lens this is, preferably low light shots or even better som...

Thanks for the tips guys, Looks like its the Sigma then :D , for a 'cheap' lens it gives some cracking shots if the photos on here are anything to go by.

Hi all I have had my Sony A200 for about 5 months now, When I first bought it I bought a £40.00 Sigma 100-300 mm to go on it as I mainly do Aviation photography and I needed somthing quick for an upcoming show.
