Thankyou for posting the photo for me. I went back to Smugmug and found that I did have external links turned off so I changed that. Maybe it will work now.

You're right they are daffodils. The daffodil fields bloom before the tulip fields, so those were a little past their prime, but that's where the misty background was better because of the timing.

That mist was real, not post processed. I left seattle at 0530 that morning so that shot was taken about 0630 I would guess. I had hoped to get there sooner, but I had to pack up my camera gear that morning because it was a spur of the moment decision to go that morning.

Yes these are tulip and daffodil fields taken near La Connor area in Washington state. The Tulip festival goes on for one month every spring.

These were taken with the Sony 70-400 G lens which is becoming one of my favorite lenses.

Thanks for the comments on the barn/tulip image. Here's another photo from that day--a different field.
