Re: A580 in P mode
Thanks to you both. I had already used reset. It does not worry me too much but am hoping to sell the camera! I will take a look and see if P shift is part of 580.

A580 in P mode
I think I have a problem with my A580. I seem to remember in the past that whenever I was in Programme mode I could rotate the dial to go up or down with shutter speed and aperture. now I cant. I am using a mixture of Sigma and Tamron lenses all reasonably new. Do I have a problem or have i not rese...

Lens sizes for nex 7 system.
I apologise if this has been asked before, but as the sensor of the nex range is the c size same as the alpha system, how can the lenses

Sigma 18-250 or Tamron 18-270
Having recently dropped into a puddle of clay water my Tamron 18-250 it is now described as Beyond Economical Repair. Therefore I have had many considerations to make. Do I purchase the replacement Tamron or Sigma. Then having read David's report on the beer can 70-210 put me in a quandary should I ...

Re: Friedman's new Sony A33/55 book
I concur that Gary's books are great. I have the A700 and the A580 versions both very informative. I prefer the written B&W version. Have recommended them to various people.

Re: A580: am I using focus check live view wrong?
I may be bit late but if using a tripod are you switching of the Super Steady Shot feature, which as I have always understood will try and correct even when on a tripod and thus can cause slight softness to an image. Sony Remopte controller RMT-DSlR1
This seems stupid but I am trying to replace the battery in my Sony remote hand controller. I can see the "door" but even after seemingly placing lots of pressure and getting it half way open it will still not give. Can anyone tell me if it rotates on a hinge and how much presuure is requi...

Re: Cokin or Kood
I dont have an answer for you but was considering a similar situation of filters and taking a look on this forum when I came across your question My question refers to types of graduated filters and Neutral density filter systems. I recognise Lee filter systems as being one of the best, but are they...
