Just to put in my two pennyworth be carefull when buying ND Grads, IMO you do really need the longer length of filter you get with the better quality ranges.

Re: First official specs and pics of A500 + A850
I've said it before and I will say it again Sony are doing a Walkman exercise with their cameras, lots of little innovations and improvements. in fifteen years with the Walkman they released over 200 models.

Re: Macro Ring Flash Diffuser
Well I've tried close up macro shots, and the O Flash is next to useless anything less than 500mm gets no light at all, in fact closest usable distance is probalby 1200 to 1500mm to get full coverage, then it's very even, that's OK by me because thats what I bought it for. Javelins' comment about th...

Macro Ring Flash Diffuser
Probably most of you have heard of the Orbis ring flash on sale for around £150, well I think I've found an improvement on the Orbis for around £28 it's called the O Flash and I purchased it on E Bay over the weekend and it arrived today all the way from Hong Kong. The big advantage over the Orbis i...

Re: Would you trade in 200/2.8 APO for Sony 70-300G?
My 200 2.8 APO HS is the best lens I've ever owned or used, I also have a 70-200 2.8 Sony but at 200 it doesn't come close to the Minolta JUST KEEP IT and save up for a 70-300G

Re: Books
Please don't do what I did, purchased a book on E Bay for £1 plus £5.50 postage, the title, Fundamentals of Optic Design. It wasn't until I recieved the book that I found it to be about spirit dispensers.

Re: Service manual for Sony A850 Online @ Sony HK
Perhaps Grand Caliph is right about Sony having it right, IMO serious photgraphers like us make up less than 1% of Sonys' customers base, whereas with Nikon & Canon it is probably 5% or more. So the more Sony make their SLR's handle like P&S compacts the more customers Sony will get, don't u...

Re: Buying Used F36 (3600) and F56 (5600) flash guns
I currently use 2 5600 flash guns wireless control with my Alpha700 with no problems, however I was on the Sony stand at Focus on Imaging in Birmingham (England) there I tried my 5600 fash guns with the Alpha 900 and the guns did not work at all wirelessly (is that spelt right) Sonys' tech guys said...

You can bet your cotton socks that within 5 years Sony will have the best digital stills camera range on the market. They are masters at innovation, just ask yourselves why are all portable cassette players called Walkmans because Walkmans never stood still from 1979 to 1999 over 450 different model...
