Are you finding you can adjust the aperture??? or does it just default to wide open?? How about when doing video - any aperture control??

Hi folks
For the few of you that have had your hands on the NEX-5, what was the battery life like when taking video?? I'm hoping it isnt flat after 1 hour of footage, 2 hours and I'll be happy.
