Re: Happy BDay to Henry and Murph

Hi Birma, Yes still with Nikon D7000, thinking about full frame later this year but not sure which one. I see you have the A99, I was talking to a guy that runs a rental firm at a camera show and he was full of praise for it, especially the dynamic range. Here is a Tyneside sunrise with the Nikon - ...

Re: Happy BDay to Henry and Murph

Thanks guys, and happy returns to Henry too, I am touched that you still remember me after all this time. We have had a rough couple of days, not only did our elderly guinea pig pass away, but we lost my long time landscape companion Pippin to cancer. We bred her, so she was with us since birth - th...

Re: Master Photography Awards merits - video

Thanks for posting the link David, can non members obtain the DVD by any chance? - I am president of my local camera club and always try to get the members to look at other images than the standard camera club staples

Best wishes

Daybreak Lighthouse

As I was up early this morning and didn't have to go to work, I headed down to the coast - it was high tide so no rockpools for reflections, but I liked this one taken as the sun was coming up. http://www.pbase.com/murph4306/image/138502901/original.jpg Sony A700 + KM 17-35 + Cokin ND Grad Cheers Paul

Re: Pre wedding shoot

Thanks for the comments, the couple really enjoyed the session as did I.

The first one is lit by an off camera HVL-56 flashgun fired by the A700 built in flash through an umbrella.

Cheers

Something different from me. I am shooting this smashing couples wedding in a few weeks and we had a short meet at the coast to discuss a few details and take a few pics. Hi all, We spent last weekend away - delivering our eldest daughter to her first day at Liverpool University, we then stopped the night in Blackpool on the way home and finally drove up through the Lake District dodging showers. Here are a few pics from the weekend. (Sony A700) Blackpool Tower from ...
