JT, I found bracketing to come to rescue on a bad light day, more than once. But Nature is what it is. You have to work with it. I liked the second one. I think first one would have benefited from a bracketed shot or even built-in HDR feature of the camera.
Valery, You are absolutely correct. It was intentional. I was taking the photos of backyard/frontyard flowers with different lenses in the Dusting off old lenses series. The idea is to show similar set up with different lenses.
The first one seem to be a bit noisy on my monitor, Valery. Second one is clean and sharp for a mirror lens. I would like to see more details on the third one but I am sure beats the heck out of carrying a heavy set up.
Ossie, Great shots. On my monitor, the second one looks too contrasty though. After the site has been hacked, my account has been restored. I am hoping the accounts of others have been restored too. I kept posting to check if everything is ok. Let's hope others come back too.
