I spoke to Sony and Sigma neither could guarantee that the lens will work, so I've cancelled the a 77 and the Sigma lens after Sigma informed me that there company I brought from is hong kong based simple electronics if the lens needed to be re-chipped it would have two go back to simple electronics...

Unfortunately its on the way, I'm new to Sony cameras, will there firmware 1.03 correct the problem with their Sigma lens, if the camera locks up can it be reset on the camera or does it need to be returned to Sony, unfortunately I know very little about Sony Alpha cameras only the reviews of read, ...

ive order a77 and asigma 120-400 hsm lens,ive seem snip of news hat he lens is not compatible, does any one no if this true.thanks
