Minolta wireless remote flash controller.

I just got one of these with a bag of cameras and accessories I picked up along with another 5400xi flash. (also got 700si and 9XI bodies which I've never tried before) This flash controller is all IR but it works a lot better than (or seems to) the flash controlled wireless on the digital cameras a...

Germany trip

Hi Folks I'm headed to Germany for a week or so in April (Bremen) and was wondering if anyone could point out a solution that's inexpensive to get a data connection r a smartphone while I'm there? I've heard that they have services you can sign up for and use for a week or a few days at a time just ...

Re: wireless flash!

Just to add in here. Welcome! But I found today while looking for a friend for a flash to use with his Panny FZ200 that the metz 50AF1 is being replaced with the 52AF1 and there is a $50.00 saving there from the retailers (at least in Canada) for one over the other. I think the touch screen might be...

that's nothing compared to just making the aluminium that holds the rest of it together. I just found it off that you pointed out the glass in the midst of all the aluminium and magnesium that's in these things.

Re: Delta Macro ring

I think all the newest cameras have a different flash protocol that's made a lot of 3rd party flashes not work. the Sigma is reported to work and can be updated by sigma if any problems arise.

Re: Need help with Sony speedlight mount for stands.

on every stand I've seen from the cheapest to the more expensive types if you just take the ISO shoe adaptor off it leaves a threaded post the Sony flash foot fits.

Sony doesn't make speedlights. it could confuse people you ask questions of if you use that trade name generically

Re: A77 file handling (jpeg and RAW)

He really picked poor phrasing. later on in the comments he talks about about what he means and that is that the camera is dealing better with the noise than he can with his external noise converters. People will learn how and software will get better at dealing with the noise. RAW is RAW.. they sho...

Add a swab and you could clean your sensor too... do it before the second shot is drunk though to avoid mishaps

Re: Minolta Ringflash vs Sony Twin Flash for Butterfly Macro

for butterflies I'm not sure I would use either. what lens?. Butterflies are pretty big animals and you don't normally need high magnification to show them. if your using a 100mm macro and getting close up detail shots then the ring flash for sure but if your using a 200mm zoom or along those lines ...

Re: 28-100mm : Opinions, Please?

I got this lens with a NIB dynax 5 kit for 50 bucks. Shot a roll of film through the camera (fun camera really) but never even opened the lens up. Might give it a try one day and see what it’s like
