Re: Replace the KM 17-35 F2.8-4 D, with what?

I suppose you mean the "cropped" APS-C format of the A900 ...? He said full frame, and that means 35-mm full-frame format (= 24 × 36 mm). ... since the 17-35 is a D design? "D" stands for distance encoder and that means the lens supports ADI functionality. Of course, the AF 17-3...

Re: Replace the KM 17-35 F2.8-4 D, with what?

Don't sell the 17-35mm until we know how well they work on full frame! Why not? I'll probably not sell it anyway, but interested in hearing why :) I suppose you mean the "cropped" APS-C format of the A900 since the 17-35 is a D design? I think the Tamron is the most interesting lens in th...

Re: Replace the KM 17-35 F2.8-4 D, with what?

The lens you're looking for doesn't exist. And even if it did you weren't able to afford it. The closest to what you want seem to be the Sigma 17-70 DC and the SAL DT 16-80 Z. -- Olaf Ok, fair enough. If I settle for a "short" lens then, between: - Tamron SP AF 17-50/2,8 XR Di-II LD Asphe...

Replace the KM 17-35 F2.8-4 D, with what?

I pretty happy with the lens but quite often feel it's a bit short... So in due time (when I stack up a big enough money pile) I'm thinking of replacing it with something else. As of today the lenses I think of are: - Sony AF DT 18-70/3,5-5,6 (actually, this one is so cheap to buy used so it's not r...

But I have also never seen that kind of effect from anything except a focal plane shutter. I have no idea how a camera phone could produce it.

The full size original has those added to it to prevent copying on pBase. I have abandoned watermarking pBase images now, but at some stage, I may delete the entire pBase stuff. Image theft from large pBase images is common. Since for some reason birds are a popular thing for copying/downloading im...

Hi!

That flash looks exactly the same as my Dörr D-AF42.. It is also sold under the Soligor brand.
I think the flash is pretty good value for money (at least in Sweden, can't give a verdict on prices abroad).

There are some example shots I've taken with my D7D here.
