Thanks Mark
I have some very good high end Rokkor lenses such as the MD 50-mm F/1.4, MD Rokkor X 45-mm F/2, An early MD Rokkor 50-mm F/1.7, A MD Rokkor 135-mm F/2.8, several Rokkor wide angles and a Rokkor 35-70 macro zoom. Its a pity I cannot get infinity with these on the Sony cameras.
Thanks
Peter

Re: Lens review
Thanks guys I just read the SLR Gear.com web site and the readers reviews give the Konica Minolta 17-35 'D' version 10/10 for image quality and 9 over all. Yes, I have read some of Kurt's reviews and I am not totally convinced of his results and conclusions on 'some' reviews, in other words they are...

Lens review
Any one used the Konica Minolta AF 17-35 F/2.8 wide zoom and how did it perform. I already have the Minolta 24-85 and its a cracker, I thought the 17-35 would be a good partner. I have seen one going for under £200. kurt Munger review gave it a positive review.
Thanks
Peter

Check out the 'Rokkor Files.com with google.
Its probably the most definitive web site on Minolta manual focus cameras and lenses.

Re: Are these the best lenses in the world?
Hi Bob I'm new to this forum, but I found this thread interesting. We had Taylor Hobson lenses on our RAF photo recci Canberra aircraft. I also remember seeing TH lenses in some high end enlargers and epidiascopes. I think TH lenses were used in a variety applications from military to domestic. I wa...
