I came across a Woodland Kingfisher yesterday in some thick brush.. more a record shot but still nice..

David, I hope you don't mind. I took your "raw" image and processed it with a translucent glow type effect. I also cropped and cloned some of the distracting elements out. The end result is so very very different to yours. Yours has a nice deep mood to it. It goes to show that whilst there...

Another one at ISO 1000

I shot this in pretty low light this morning at ISO1000 with the A99.. I was quite happy with the result..

This was shot with the 500F4... I have noticed that the exif sometimes says 300/2.8.... maybe something to do with lens profiles in ACR...
