Other than some ID-10-t errors, I have had no problems with my A77.
Expectations surpassed so far...only a few hundred clicks and some video.

I understand your frustration but there is a reason you can't preview print sharpening. The reason is that you can't assess the result of 600 dpi print on a 100 dpi monitor. Can you see a difference on your monitor? Surely. Can you pick the right one? Not likely. This isn't a super critical processi...

The sharpening sliders/noise sliders in LR are for capture sharpening. The export function has settings for output sharpening that match the intended use (web, print, etc.) The web is full of info on this. It isn't just an LR thing. Two or three step sharpening is basic digital image processing tech...

The full frame looks sharper at 100% because it has 33% lower linear pixel density.

That was a dimension issue, not a size issue.
There have always been restrictions on the dimensions of linked and uploaded images.
As far as I can remember, there has never been a restriction on the size of linked images.

I decided on the HP because it offers more pixels than I currently have (less scrolling in apps like Lightroom) at a lower pixel density (easier on my aging eye-balls).
