The sharpening sliders/noise sliders in LR are for capture sharpening. The export function has settings for output sharpening that match the intended use (web, print, etc.) The web is full of info on this. It isn't just an LR thing. I found the first article on this page interesting.

That was a dimension issue, not a size issue.
There have always been restrictions on the dimensions of linked and uploaded images.
As far as I can remember, there has never been a restriction on the size of linked images.

I don't understand.
I don't believe I have ever posted an image that small and have never had a problem.
The photo above is 816 KB.

Why the 250 KB limit?
Can't get to my favorite valleys until July or maybe August.

I decided on the HP because it offers more pixels than I currently have (less scrolling in apps like Lightroom) at a lower pixel density (easier on my aging eye-balls).

I'm on the verge of buying an IPS monitor...probably an HP ZR30w.
