Re: Just Bicycles

David, thank you. I like your bike with its very vibrant pink and what a clean bike too.

I thought I would post just one more, in mono and this time a tricycle and it is being used too.

A few of my favourites

3 of my particular favourites that remind of me of a great holiday. 2 with Sony A100 and 18-70 kit lens and 1 (Sydney) with the Sony DSC V1 compact. The Lighthouse was shot in RAW and then edited in Elements 3.

Some from Essex

Thought I'd give my new 70-300G a try out around the village and so here are a few images. Compared to the previous lenses I was using I am delighted with the results. Hardly any CA to be found.

Re: Hello from another part of East Anglia

Thank you all for the welcome Well I've done it. Raided the piggy bank, re-mortgaged the house and part exchanged the 70-300mm kit lens to purchase the 70-300mm G. If I had one I may well have sold the wife too if needed. London Camera Exchange in Colchester (thank you David) did me what I think was...

Hello from another part of East Anglia

I joined the forum a little while ago and it seems very remiss of me that since then I have not introduced myself. I live in North Essex close to the boundary with Suffolk and not far from Britains oldest recorded town, Colchester. Along with circa 40 of my colleagues I was made redundant in late 20...

Many thanks for your feedback.

Which replacement lens

It is coming up for 2 years since I took the plunge and decided to buy the Sony A100 with two kit lenses. As my experience has grown I have become more critical of the quality of my photographs as a consequence I recently upgraded the 18-70 zoom to the 16-80CZ and have noticed a significant improvem...

Re: Error: UNABLE TO USE CARD. FORMAT? or a flashing --E-

Hi Knoxville I had a similar problem with a Sandisk Extreme III CF 1gb card. After using up half the capacity of the card and backing it up to a Jobo Giga One portable hard drive my A100 refused to recognise the card and produced an identical message. The card could be read in a computer and the ima...
