It would be good to have the NEX ones too!
Thanks,
Andy

Re: Camera Repair Workshop - UK ex-Minolta team
I was referring to Camera Repair Workshop, the main subject of this thread. David gave the contact details above.HFnotts wrote:I emailed km support to be told that they do not handle Sony repairs.

Yes, they do handle lens cleaning and repairs very well. Can't think of any reason why they couldn't do that lens, but it might be worth asking before you send it.

Adobe Camera Raw 5.5 shows the lens details too, plus Bridge now shows them for Raw files.

Re: TC micro AF adjustments on A900
The Sony and Minolta TCs won't autofocus with that lens so perhaps they wouldn't register? If you want to swap your A900 for my A700 I could try it!

Re: TC micro AF adjustments on A900
Can't answer your question David, but does the A900 'remember' the 70-400mm + 1.4x AF adjust setting and show it separate from the 70-400mm setting?

I wouldn't call the 70-300 G compact!Mr_Canuck wrote: Compact size is important to me.

Re: Annoying Ads on DK's Articles
I think there is a good argument not to block ads here. I'm sure David finds the (little) revenue helpful towards the costs of running this site.

Re: Annoying Ads on DK's Articles
I get the same with the Google ads covering text using IE and Firefox on a Vista PC. I get round it by resizing the window and moving the text up or down. If we could get David off using Macs we wouldn't get these problems.

That's a good tip David.
They are very fussy about photos these days and even seem to reject them for the wrong shade of cream background ...

Re: Bother with back focussing
Perhaps it's coming ....The next update to make the A700 almost perfect could be to add the same feature as the A900 to be able to make small adjustment to the focus system.
