I got this lens with a NIB dynax 5 kit for 50 bucks. Shot a roll of film through the camera (fun camera really) but never even opened the lens up. Might give it a try one day and see what it’s like

Locally here. stuff like this goes on craigslist and is gone in a matter of a few hours. a crook can steal something post it at a very hot price then pull the ad down as soon as there is a credible response. sometimes only in minutes..

wow this is a big deal. looks like they sucked all the money out of Oly and this Woodward guy wouldn't play nice. this won't be the last we hear of this... kinda off topic though

I a scene where there is a huge diference between the brightest bright and the darkest dark spot meter will give you a wide variation of exposure. Just keep in mind that whatever part of the scene you put the spot meter on is going to make the camera try to adjust it to be middle grey in brightness ...

Nope it will only go in 2 posible positions on the rail. one is too high and the other too low. If I can ever remember to bring home my vernier i'll measure it and make a spacer for the tall side. I looked breifly fr the dims online but theres nothing reliable posted anywhere I can find.

I tried this with my a700 and the camera sits too high to get the nice straight line you have. with the slide adapter turned over on it's mounting it's too low but at least I can make an adapter. I just don't have the dimensions for the different lens centre to bottom plate of the 2 cameras. looks l...

Yes but by harvest time theres many many tons of food. and while the meat is still cows it doesn't have to be refrigerated and lasts years! Ask a farmer about making poo into food. they willll tell you they've been doing it since the beginning of time and didn't need a lab.

Lens making company as in whole lenses like Sigma and Tamron. do they really do their own coatings or does the lens maker as in the glass do it? like Schott or Zeiss. Schneider... Hoya...

this is perfect. I just set it up the way I knew to with a film camera and abvously it didn't work. I'll try this when I revisit this project. Do you use a flash as the light source or is it quick enough with just ambient light?
