Hi David
I noticed on the DPreview the view finder is lower mag than the a700 does it "feel" smaller?
Cheers, Stephen

Re: Another D5000 video
Umm ... what exactly is "tiny"? The D5000's viewfinder? Or the difference between the D5000's viewfinder and the A700's viewfinder?

Specs say 0.78x D500, D60 is 0.8x A700 is 0.9x
Bit of a difference.
Mind you A300 series is a mere..x0.74
I really hate naff viewfinders..the 0.83x of the A200/5d is barely acceptable, not a chance I would use anything less. Whenever I pick up the film 7, it's a stark reminder just how poor most modern crop sensor cameras are, or go hunt out a MD body on ebay..monster huge viewfinders. Heck even the budget AF film ones look big.

Re: Another D5000 video
It is a neat, bright viewfinder with the grid overlay option - I turned that on straight away, like having a free £30 focusing screen built in and no need to change it. But it is very small and I have found myself using the live view from preference.
