After having a large reduction in income (and the threat of redundancy-I work for Local Government) its with a heavy heart that I have had to sell all my alpha equipment to make ends meet.

A dealer has agreed to sell it for me on a commision basis. (I also have got some Minolta cameras which they wont touch (they seem to take a long time to sell).

I would like to thank every one on here for the lively debate-I will be keeping an eye on you.

I am sorry to hear that for many reasons (we just don't want to know what's round the corner...)

Hello Paul,

I hope things turn around for you and many others and that you need not sell any of your Alpha or other gear after all.

Hope to see you around here again without any of these worries once again.

Good luck!

Very sorry to hear that Paul, I feel your pain.

I went through something similar at the beginning of last year, we lost half of our approximately 80 staff and I too had to take a substantial hit to my salary. Things are tight at the moment... but we manage.

Sincerely hope that your situation changes for the better soon.
