Anyone tried A700 with the Tamron 18-250 ?

Curious about the exposure, with the A100 and Tamron one have to compensate for underexposure at tele range. How is the A700 + Tamron 18-250 combination.

It is very good. The lens snaps when in focus. The SONY version is a tad better.

We have been using the 18-250mm on the A700 and the answer is, perfect shots nearly all the time. Faster focus than on the A100, and it is hard to fault the exposure.

I find as David says but it still is a slow lens (simply through the turns/movement ratio) but very accurate hardly ever hunting.
