I doubt it, but anyone know if it's possibly to change the mount on a Sony Alpha to that of a Nikon or Canon?

They have the kits for Sigmas and some others, I'm asking because I've never seen one for Sony(and doubt I ever will).

Are you asking if you can change the Camera's mount flange or the rear mounting flange on a lens?

You might use a converter but sometimes with additional glass. It depends from the register distance.
Take a look here: http://www.markerink.org/WJM/HTML/mounts.htm

I'm talking about replacing the camera's mount flange.

Are you suggesting there are kits to convert the Sigma bodies to a different mount? If so, I would be interested to know about them. The Alpha mount is fairly easy to remove from a camera (I have a complete spare mount in my office drawer). But I've never heard of a camera body conversion. Maybe you could fit a Minolta MD body mount to an Alpha body!

Quit Teasing! I wish! I have plenty of good MD mount lenses lying around.
