KM 7D focus screen.

Unread post by Cogito »

Can anyone tell me if there are any drawbacks to using a split-image focusing screen in a KM 7D? The reason I ask is that I still enjoy using my old MC/MD lenses on the KM 7D but manual focusing isn't the easiest to get right. Suggestions would be appreciated!

Yes, the Haoda screen has some effect on metering - sometimes OK, sometimes upsets the reading. You need to take more care and check your exposures, that's all.
