Nikon Df review

Its interesting to read the DP Review of the Nikon Df and also interesting to see that for a FF sensor, they have left it at 16mp. The picture quality shown is exceptional in the conclusion page. However, Nikon still seem to be plagued with AF issues especially in low light. Is the Df a expensive exercise in nostalgia or a step forward in camera development, i'm not sure.
