I think the cycle time of the shutter doesn't get any faster than around 1/250sec on an A700, for an A100 it's 1/200sec if I remember correctly, (fastest cycle time, starting from rest and returning to rest), so that experiment might not be possible with an A100, or results might not be as good maybe.

Just wanted to share those pictures. I have used the same trick to get the High Speed Sync with the Zeus 2500 pack (2500 Head and RingMaster).
