I've been reading up a lot more on flashes, bar obvious ones such as Metz/Sigma and original makers

These look interesting as in top end gun nice price fully loaded.
But..
Are they any good?

Never used them or even touched one in the flesh. Any experiences would be useful.

Yes! Had one for Sony on test. It's a very good gun indeed, lots of features. Very well made, accurate exposure. Can not really recommend it too highly.
