Photographer Charlie Haughey has revisited his long-neglected cache of over 1000 negatives from the Vietnam war. They're amazing photographs, and you can view selections of them on Flickr and Tumblr, among other places. His collection available on Boston.com seems to have many pictures that the other sites don't, including this one:
Yep, that's a Minolta SR-1 (possibly a V?).

Very interesting Eye-spy KB. The news here in the UK have just done their "on this day in history" spot and one of the items was the the 1973 withdrawal of troops from Vietnam. Spooky timing.
