sharp or not to sharp?

hi
i had sharpend some photos for my laptop also to be used on my photo club projecter but i am concernd, fact is i just tried the same shots on mytv sony hd and they now look too sharp! maby i will not sharpen any in future.
any thought any one.

If you are processing with LR, then look if you have checked the button: "Screen sharpness" (or something like that).
Or try to decrease the amount of sharpness.
A99 + a7rII + Sony, Zeiss, Minolta, Rokinon and M42 lenses

The TV player may be adding sharpening, and your TV may haver a controllable preset which works only with this player and can have the extra sharpness turned down.

Hi Mike, my Sony TV adds some saturation and sharpness to pictures by default. This helps with unprocessed HD video clips, but can be over ther top with processed stills.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.
