I am wondering if the EVF will be as good as it is made out to be. I had one on an Olympus, VF-2, but dropped the Oly m4/3rd cameras for different reasons. I was out shooting a couple of weeks ago and shot the following picture. I took it predawn and at first tried my Nex 5. But the LCD was totally black and I couldn't focus. I tried manual focus and focusing to infinity but still missed, badly. Then I broke out my trusty DSLR and had no problem focusing on the distant trees. They say an EVF is you get what you see. Has anyone shot one in the dark to see? Just how good will a EVF handle shooting dark skies?
If the future is EVF this is important to me...........
