Took a stroll on Stensö (Either Rock Island or Sten's Island!

)its a small cape which happens to be a nature reserve near where I live. Quite beautiful during the summer, not so beautiful now though.
I was there testing out my new GPS unit, thought I'd try and synch the GPS data to the pics as I have read on the internet. It works very well.
I spiffied up this one, emulating a cross processed film.

A bit of history:
Here is where Gustav Eriksson (later Gustav I King of Sweden) landed on the 31st of May 1520 when he came back from Lübeck. He visited Kalmar Castle which was still under siege from the Danish. Gustav later traveled up north where he sucessfully started a uprising against the Danish King Christian II (in Sweden often called Christian the Tyrant). Gustav Eriksson was elected Gustav I King of Sweden on 6 June 1523.
This is also where the Vikings would sail up 1000 years ago and drag their ships across the cape using logs to get into Kalmar strait.
