snow on canvey island

hi all

this was a bad winter on canvey island ,essex, england. some years ago and our lake has frozen.

I can see some prints in the snow, middle left, looks like bird prints and maybe some dog, cat or fox ones as well.
I see Canvey Is. is listed as being below sea level, sotof like a mini Holland. I take it plenty of snow and Ice is unusual in those parts? if so there is plenty of it in that shot...looks more like Norway. And err is the pond for sale? I'm not sure what the deal is with the sign.

i think the sighn post was there because someone got tired off being let down with his house.

we got all power cut off and only one main road for traffic to main land.
