Lovely bright and colorful flowers Yildiz- I wish we had such open air florists here where I live. The closest I get to burst of color like that are bunches individually wrapped in cellophane in a grocery store, under ugly fluorescent lights...
I have to ask, what are you using to light the tomato plants?? I like it..
Ossie- beautiful shot indeed. John

Hi John, :)

Thank you for your kind comments on the street floerist's flower display and the tomato plant flowers...
Regarding the light on the tomato flowers, there was no additional light other than what was available of the daylight coming through the semi-coloured safety glass of the balcony enclosure, (the tempered safety glass has a yellowish tint)

The shots were taken around 14:00 hrs. which means that an even North light was lighting the balcony, hence no contrasty shadows.
I just directed my Tamron 90mm in the direction of the flowers and shot. : )

----------------------------

David Antony;

With the bright backlighting and the lost background the flower became almost 'angelic'. : ))

Good catch!

Hi Yildiz - beautiful, beautiful flowers :D . I love the way the blues are catching the light. The plum blossoms are my favourite - fantastic subtle light on them - and they do have an overall plummy feel to them - the power of suggestion I'm sure. If I had to pick only one it would be the first of the plum blossoms pics - love that painterly feel ;)

I agree Doc, but the real skill there is making & baking it so good.

My baking would need more than photoshop to fix it. ;^)

I saw this flower box in a store front window and had to get a photo of it.
