Spent a few days at a conference in Innsbruck, Austria. Unfortunately, the first couple of days suffered from terrible weather - 10cm of rain on the first afternoon, snow, sleet and 100% cloud cover the following day before warm sunny days and blue skies on the third. I'm still ploughing through the shots but I quite like this one of a series of shots I took overlooking the Austrian Alps. Not quite sure if this rendering does it justice - the clouds in the scene lack definition / contrast and by the time I tried tweaking the exposure / rotated the CPL filter, the 'island' was covered by clouds so the moment was gone. Still, I quite like it - it has a certain something.
