A PIG (Pipeline Inspection Gauge) fried (as in an electronic circuit board) in (crude) oil. These devices are put in the pipeline sections
to scrape off the paraffin wax build-up in the pipelines and also whole lot of sensors are attached to these devices to inspect
the pipeline segments checking seams for weld failures etc., Trans Alaskan Pipeline. This one is now out of service and serves as
an exhibit. Taken with Dimage A2.

Good one for documenting, Sury.
Now that you explained how it is utilised inside the pipeline I understand how important their implementation is.
Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz

At first glance it doesn't look much like a pig,
but it's interesting anyway, good one Sury.

Wanted to see a pig of the pork type in a big pot. Instead I get something that my dentist wouldn't appreciate if I tried to sink my teeth into it
