I can't fault the Tammy for image quality or bokeh. I also really like how the front element is so recessed that I am confident to use this lens without a protective filter. It is also attractively priced.

The only negatives for me are the AF/MF switch and connecting to the camera. The switch is the push, pull type and I find it easy to change inadvertently when handling the lens either on or off the body. Sometimes when fitting to the camera the camera doesn't recognise the len. Easily fixed by taking the lens off and refitting. A bit annoying. I don't get this problem with any of my other lenses. Neither of these niggles is enough to make me want to change the lens, but wanted to add in the spirit of full disclosure :)

Thanks for the info Andy. I see that the a-mount in the latest version is now available for purchase. Which version do you have?

My version is a couple of generations back I think.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.
