Don my monitors here at work aren;t calibrated but here and at home your last few here do look a little overdone. the last one with the young girl looks a little too bright on top of that on her right wqrist. inside of left arm and chest area look dangerously close to blown out. are you processing these to post here or arey they alreay processed in your archives? maybe it's intentional is what i'm asking, they are still great shots I'm just wondering if yourt new monitors are fooling you. They sort of have a Kodachrome look to them I never saw in the other pics you posted from before

Lots of blue in that one and looks very "clear" and some of the skin tones on the people on the right look about right but 2 of those people are very redish orange. there not blooming so much but they look un-natural. like I say my monitors here are not calibrated but of the 2 one shows warmer than the other and in both, especially that one guy walking from Left to right (Edit) the colour looks too saturated and actually the blues under the pier on the left too. All I'm saying is that these are diferent than ones you've posted before you monitor troubles. like the scene where you lost your lens at, I think is in the thread and it looked a little diferent than last I saw it.

sorry.. did you fix the clearwater photo? i'm at home now and this monitor is calibrated but I was going to say there was something with red and yellow going on. but the CW photo looks fantastic now! I opened it tried to make it look like it does at work and couldn't I'd have to increase sat and reds in particular without affecting the cooler areas to make it show skin that orange. even the in speedboat one. the rest of the picture looks good even at work, but at work the guy with the beard is glowing orange on his shoulders. where it's clearly sunburn on this monitor. Sorry I didn't mean to cause an issue over this I though the pics looked over done and though it was something you hadn't intended. I think my work machine just takes a certain amount of saturation them blows it if it's just a bit too far. I have 4 monitors hooked to that machine (it's for Cad/cam) and 2 of the monitors are warmer than the other 2 and no matter where I dragged your pictures to they looked over done compared to the others posted

My own pictures tend to look somewhat under-saturated and less contrasty than I intended when I see them on another monitor. Of course, this would mean that the saturation and contrast are set too high on my monitor, but it also means that I'm fine-tuning my pictures well away from clipped highlights and shadows since the limited color gamut of my monitor keeps me in a "safety zone." Perhaps I could extract a little more from my pictures, so in my latest batch I'm trying to be a bit more daring.

This could also explain why Sonolta's pictures are so glaring on my monitor lately, but it doesn't seem to happen to other forum members' images...except maybe sometimes Bossel.

whenever I shot adobe RGB on the camera the colours look very flat in the editors so I always leave the camera on sRGB
