Tank needs a good clean, mind. These are from frogspawn laid early this year which i rescued and put indoors. They'll be released back into the pond this weekend

found this snail today i dont know the english word for it but in swedish it´s called vinbärssnäcka
used the 70-300 distans is about 1meter and it´s very little crop done to this.
Dennis, in good hands the Tamron 90mm is a very good lens. The ant shot proves to be a tertimony for that. : )
It certainly looks like, it stepped out of an alien movie.

I chopped this seedpod off the Foxtail Palm before it got too big; they make a huge mess if you don't.
It was quite popular with lots of creepy crawlies and greeblies, I originally went to get the camera because I spotted a small (maybe 4mm) metallic blue spider with an abdomen that bobbed up and down, but when I got back I couldn't find it. So I had to be content with a couple of the more mundane types.
Very, very nice Greg - love all of those shots with the KM 100 Macro. The first mini-beast looks very strange with those enourmous antenna. (I'm sort of glad you missed the spider .)
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.
I have been experimenting with some MD lenses on my Nex and I got hold of a very reasonable set of MD extension tubes which has allowed me to do some close-ups (not sure this is a true 'macro' shot).
This is with Nex 5 and Minolta MD 135mm f/2.8 with 21mm extension tube. I had to resort to rocking backwards and forwards to focus and the lighting was getting dull so ISO 1600 had to be used to keep everything steady. I will be looking into focusing rails I think, with the stacking s/w recently discussed.
