I once visited a friend with 3 Spanish speaking exchange students from 3 different countries. One used a slang term and another berated him for cursing. He explained the term in standard Spanish and it was not. Seems that in one locale the same word is used entirely differently than in another.

I'd have forgotten a lot less if that Brazilian beauty I was chasing wasn't too smart to marry me! I ended up with an American beauty instead. (Somebody had to add good looks to my gene pool, so my kids wouldn't be too ugly!)
