This picture gives me the feeling I'm secretly peeking at the butterfly, because everything is a blur whirling around the one leaf the butterfly is sitting on. That's what I personally like about this image.

That you are in the shade and the butterfly is backlit also enhances the 'feel' of peeking secretly.

That's a pretty one Mark, quite hairy for a butterfly, some moths are hairy too, but that's a butterfly though, and yes the larger shot looks better.

Hi Mark - those are all fabulous, although #1, #2, and #3 stand out for me as they are also lovely flower shots . Really nice sharp pictures of the butterflies, and flowers, with great buttery smooth backgrounds as well.

With their rather plain colouring they indeed can camouflage pretty easily in their natural surroundings compared to the other more colourfully donned ones of the earlier shootings.
I'm amazed at how close you get to where they rest. The ones I chased in Istanbul can really move fast... : ) Hard to shoot.
