You are killing me. I have a vacation to Alaska coming up in a month. Hmmm!hiccup! Need to think quickly
if I take that plunge..... With my Dimage A2 still working, A100 intact, A700 and A900 going gangbusters, need to
convince the missus that I have to have this new fangled gadget.

Good luck with that Sury, I know how that feels I'm figuring out how to convince the missus that a Sony 1.4x TC and a soundrecorder will add value to my goals as a birding enthusiast, which in turn will mae her happy (me happy is she happy, or something like that)

Hi Mark,

Impressively well-kept castle to enjoy in th 21st century. Lovely shots of the premises...

Much as I love the castle shots, the last one of the surrounding green is a marvel; Fine details and restful colours of the beautiful nature ou there.

It's also impressive to watch a mere photo thread turn into a Gear-Acquiring encouragement thread with all the energy and well-structured excuses.

Good luck on the road to getting more shiny and valuable gears guys! Well deserved if you ask me..

Without a single doubt, Mark.

Here I am thinking along the lines of Zeisses, NEXes, adapters...backpacks to wrap them securely to any deatination...
