I’ve sometimes wondered how the flat earthers explain such things as the curved appearance of the rays’ emanating from the crater Tycho as your quite decent moon shot illustrates. I mean if the earth is flat then the moon must be flat too…right? So how does one get curved eject rays on a flat surface?
Never mind, it's not that important, it just popped into my head, I suppose because I visited the flat earth website a while ago, I only snuck in to see if there was anyone there I recognized, but no, nary a one…except me of course. That place was scary and I don’t scare easily.
How does the evaluation of the number of shots check out Sury, have you tried less shots like 10 or 15 or 20 etc. to see if there is any difference better or worse in the result?

Flat Earth Society. They are bunch of "squares".
I did not have nor do I have a number in mind. I used to take 50-100 in the past to get that one
elusive shot decent enough to post process. In fact I tried few of those using the software with
little luck. The first one is one such effort.
The last one is done with stacking in mind. What I learned with stacking is that you don't even need
to change the setting. The number for me was determined by my aching hand (900+70-400 is heavy
tilted at an awkward upright angle) and cold weather. I think this shot is better than the other IMHO
is the light pollution or lack there of. Other than the gas station lights there were no other lights withing
50 miles of the location. Add 70-400 to mix and you get better at it. We are having cloudy days now.
I am thinking of getting out town on a clear night and when the moon is waxing or waning. I read that full
moon is not the best to capture the craters.
