Thanks.Birma wrote:Nice shot Doc, and a great B&W conversion as always.
No conversion here Birma, it was shot on B&W film. Those were very very cheap and affordable for anyone. But we always lusted for good films such as Kodak or Ilford B&W.
We used to prepare all our developers ingredient by ingredient... Interesting times they were...
The shot was made in Beirut in summer of 1990, while I was there.

Ah - of course. It does have a great look, Doc

Hey, Sawbones, I like that one a lot! There is an outside chance Soviet film may be making a comeback.Dr. Harout wrote:Shot with Nikon FE2 and probably a 50/1.8 on Soviet 64 ASA Svema film in Beirut, 1990
By the way, got back to Istanbul yesterday.

Lovely picture view finder. I really like the sweeping curve of the hill and field with the impressive silhouette of the old tree. Then there is that amazing sky!

Love all of those shots Richard - but especially the the last one - great droplets.
Great traffic shot Doc - it doesn't look like the horse and cart is too slow in those streets
