Birma those shots are great. It reminds me that I need to dust off my 10x ND filter and use it, but I'll have to travel far outside the 'burbs to find great scenery like that!
Yesterday I took Ellie, the a200 and the 70-200G for a walk. I think I have found where some of the lack of sharpness is coming from. Most of my a200 shots are great, super sharp as expected. I think the a700 needs some AF adjustment, but further testing is necessary. Anyway Ellie says that the weather here in McKinney is great!
Today is 23°C, winds E @ 21km/hr. A bit of rain earlier, but clear now.. John

Too early for swim here but I did see a few people shopping for swimsuits and beachwear this morning...That's usually the case here; Acquire everything that's fitting for a sandy beach and make that escape in the weekend to a warmer coastal town...

Ellie looks to be having a nice cool down. Interesting that the A200 is having better results with the 70-200. Perhaps a comparison with your and KB's A700s to see if it is your particular A700 body?

Looks like there is some nice wildlife going on in the muddy waters. I think I see quite a number of feet trails in the mud. Must be the trails of the birds looking for food living in the mud.

Very windy in Istanbul. : )

Caught the glimpse of a half-arch rainbow and ran for my camera. And found that it was pretty hazy looking in the direction of te Hagia Sophia.

Nice shot of the mud flats - I have expected 'gators or crocs to be drawn up on the bank - then I remembered where you were . Nice catch of the heron.

Nice rainbow Yildz much more vivid than the last one near the same spot. (Doc's Office) thats a couple of years back.

No crocs or rhino Birma. It is part of the Fraser river, when the tide comes in it stems the flow of the river and all these channels fill up.

: ) Thanks. Actually, must have lasted for mere minutes. It was already gone when I thought of a different angle to shootyet an other frame. As you say, one has to think very fast when a rainbow shows.

You're right. We called it the Doc's office at that time. : ) It was on the opposite side of the house though, on the West side. I'm certain that the photo is somewhere in one of those threads still...

Tsawwassen 10ºc. sun & rain.

There were 3 lads taking turns in trying to land balls on Westham Island from the Ladner side.

I suspect they got their basket of balls from some driving range? The odd ball made it over. ;^)
