Took a hike today in a badlands area about 30 miles away from my house.

Great sky, Jeff. Goes well with the surrounding landscape.

The sky is indeed dramatic, Jeff. That is very atypical color in the foreground. A delicate pink rather than typical
earth colors.

He who defines the terms, controls the argument. :D

Anyways, those are great pictures. The snow cone landscape is especially refreshing as summer approaches.

I love the Kauai view, Sury, and the other two pictures are interesting as well - I suddenly feel in need of something cold and sweet :)

These are reprocessed in 2015 but taken in 2009 when my skills were far worse than they are today.
And Yosemite is in worse shape than in 2009 what with our drought and lack of rain for the last 5 years.

All beautiful with great colour and texture. The second one is a great landscape view with a superb composition taking your eye up the river and valley, and a great sky over it all.

Great pictures Sury. Yosemite is a neat place. So much to photograph. Is that a little frost or snow in that last picture?

Thank you Andy and Jeff. And Jeff, that is the snow. We were there during winter 2009.

The last two are stunners again, Sury. Epic, to go with the landscape :)

Hi Sury;

Thanks to the other guys, the thread is back up, where we are reminded of these lovely shots.
The reworking of the photos look good. I like all shots, although I agree that the last two of the second set are more beautiful in some regards. I would of liked to take a bicycle ride in the place that we see in the first photo as well.

Thanks for sharing,

Yildiz
