I realized why I really like to take mushroom pictures. Even in strong wind you don't have to be afraid of unsharp pictures due to subject movement. If the mushrooms are mooving, it's better to find a shelter.
My recent photos using nex-5, kit lens + marumi achromat and twin-flash (DIY adapter)
Yesterday I went again to a local park but it was too dry. Nevertheless I found some nice Amanita muscaria. I started with macro but later changed to 16mm+fisheye adapter. The twin flash worked surprisingly good and it was absolutely necessary to enhance the subject:
I found the 16mm pancake + fisheye adapter absolutely perfect. The resolution is very good. This is a crop from the above image without resizing:

Hi Birma,
I'm still experimenting with lighter background but here it was not so nice (to busy). I'm rhinking that blue sky as negative background would be fine.

I'm quite sure you roll on the soil to get those shots, so,... who does the laundry?
I have a "self-cleaning phototrousers" but when it's really dirty, my wife helps doing the loundry. By the way the flip up LCD of the nex-5 helps a lot not to be dirty.
