Patience has its rewards, but not photographically in this case for the photographer, it seems. Impressive dam... so many hydroelectric technological details he could have enjoyed shooting like you did with the trains and the railroads.

All last shots and their subjects are very rewarding for you though, JBTaylor. : )

I was following the Sony HDR App discussion and one of posters posted a link to a video on how to use it.
At the end of that video I saw links to bunch of other videos and one of them happened to be this one.

This above link has two videos and I clicked the bottom viceo and at the end of the 3.59 video I saw bunch
of links (tiles) for other tutorials and don't ask me why, but I picked this one below.

I just tried the ND filters in LR without much thought put into it, but started liking the effect.
Some experiments were over the top and some were not. It is relatively straight forward, honestly.
Even I could do it.

And that my friend is the path of my discovery.
