Mystery of Beauty is packed in that lens in your hands, JBTaylor. : )

Bokeh? Makes all these shots a piece of art.

Glad you found the time to share. :)

Thanks to all for the kind comments. I was exhausted but exhilarated after 4 hours and 3 laps around the building and green houses. Took over 300 shots of which I posted 65.
A few more.

14mm 2.8. For some reason, I enjoyed the different perspective this lens was creating.

Those are nice. I particularly like the reduction to simple geometry in the second. I agree that the perspective you're getting with the 14mm is quite nice as well -- especially in the third shot. Maybe it's just me, but the last shot leaves me wishing the closest flower was even closer so it would dominate the picture a bit more (and show a bit more detail).

Thanks jcoffin.
I agree about the last shot. I was more worried about the roses and lights in the background.

Quite artsy with great bokeh jbtaylor if not overly flowery, I like the fern leaf dangling down and the spiky flower shooting up from the bottom.

Merry Christmas to you too, JBTaylor. :D

Very nice set of three shots. This particular Zeiss actually has the optical power to make any of the most ordinary subjects look fabolous and artistic...but the orchids and the rose are already wonderous colour and composition-wise.

But I love the simple yet telling beauty of the last shot; especially the tealish blue-green of the needles are amazing.
A modest shot very suitable to the spirit of Christmas. : ))

Nice -- I particularly like the contrast between the blue and green in the needles of the Christmas tree.
