Looks great as a winter scene, especially the rusty color of the trucks against the flying, powdery snow is doing the real magic!
I remember this photo really well. Years went by really fast.

In some situations, there should be a better image quality than the A300.

SAL1680z - is the best standard zoom lens for crop cameras Sony, of course only my opinion.

I have seen consistently superior image quality from images taken with that lens. Sony and Zeiss got it right.
You are fortunate to have one.
